A Polish Christmas Tradition

Today our St Bernadette class shared Christmas traditions from different countries. Our favourite one was that “In Poland, on 24th December there must be an empty space and plate on the table for a guest who doesn’t have a home or family. So someone can knock on the door and come in and eat and celebrate with us.” We all agreed that this is what Christmas should really be about and that it would be a nice idea to invite someone to our family Christmas dinners.
